Etta in full fleece and as a yearling
|
Dundee ’s Etta of Adrenalin, Daughter of champions! Light Fawn DOB 9/20/2007 Due Date: August 15, 209 Dam: Dundee's Clementine (Jaxon daughter) Sire: Aztec Adrenalin (Victor's Vaccoyo son) Service Sire: ESCONDIDO'S MAKULU: 5 time champion EL NINO son. This is a spectacular match - This 3/4 Accoyo herdsire's really fantastic genetics are the foundation for this incredible fleece with a micron count of 16.8 at nearly two years old! His grandfathers include Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian Caligula. From Etta's side, her cria's pedigree will include Adrenalin, Victor's Vaccoyo, Drambuie, Snowmass Angel, and Snappy - one of the best dams in Canada. Makulu has taken FOUR Championships, THREE Reserve Championships, and 14 First Place ribbons - his crias are also taking championships. THIS IS A SPECTACULAR MATCH! Just one look tells you that this daughter of champions is a solid, stunning young female. Her light fawn fleece (below) is long and fine with palpable architecture throughout. She is structurally solid, perfect bite, proportions, dense bones, and straight legs. Not really a surprise. Her mother Clementine is an eye catching, robust female, who not only was a Reserve Champion, but also Best Bred and Owned. Her sire is none other than Aztec Adrenalin, who is a multiple champion, a two time Get of Sire, and proving to be a very predictable breeder of quality (We have had 3 champions out of 5 crias) .
We have several of Etta's relatives, so we are offering her for sale - though not without some reluctance.
There is no doubt that she has "THE LOOK," which does not disappoint as you check out her fleece (Second year fleece AFD: 20.7, SD: 3.7, CV: 18.1, >30 2.2) and watch her move out. She is strong, healthy, and right-sized to carry and deliver crias easily. Etta's got all the right stuff - and a fabulous cria on the way. Take her home and hope for a BOY! Isn't that nice? Price: $14,000

Rosemary

Dundee ’s Rosemary of Adrenalin Medium Fawn
DOB 9/21 /09 Dam: HP Wee Lassie Sire: CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon
Rosemary's pedigree is impressive to those who are serious breeders: Victor, Victor's Vaccoyo, Adrenalin, Bueno, Drambuie, Snappy, and Fandango. She wears the distinctive Adrenalin fleece - long, crimpy, soft, and dense - a red medium fawn almost the color of terra cota. Her conformation is correct in every way and she carries that look that speaks to quality. Her dam, Diosa, is one of our best producers because of her easy births, mothering skills, milk supply, and impressive crias. Last year's cria, Timbuktu, earned a Reserve Champion banner at the 2009 Great Western Alpaca Show - the largest in the world for 2009. Rosemary is a confident weanling with a strong frame, substantial bone, and beautiful head. We expect her to be a great producer, just like her mother. Rosemary can be bred in the spring of 2010 to either Axtion Jaxon or The Lad when she is ready. You might also consider our white color champion Zamboni. Rosemary is priced to sell to someone who want to show, grow, and produce exceptional colored alpacas. Price: $9,500 with breeding

Kelty at 15 months
Kelty on day one with dam Brandy
Kelty's sire |
Dundee ’s Kelty Khan Light Fawn
DOB 6/15 /08 Dam: HK Brandy Sire: High Khan of High Plains
Kelty is a rare prize in the United States. Her exceptional bloodlines combine the best of Canadian and Australian pedgrees. She is 1/4 Accoyo and 3/8 Alianza. We love the Accoyo/Alianza cross because it gives us fine, dense fleece from the Accoyo side and long-lasting fineness from the Alianza side. If proven rare bloodlines are part of your breeding program, Kelty is a fine choice. Her fleece is exceptionally fine, long, and bright. She has correct conformation and is robust and very alert. Kelty's fleece came out in ringlets the day she was born and when we sheared her, we were amazed at the volume she had put on in 11 months. Kelty comes with a breeding to any of Dundee Farm's herdsires. May we suggest The Lad or Axtion Jaxon to pull out the color? Or Adrenalin to stamp the Victor signature fleece? We are happy to discuss the choices with you - each has its advantages.
Sire: High Khan of High Plains High Khan is a 2x Grand Champion (Canada) and is a combination of Canadian and Australian lines. His dam, Jolimont Pearlanza (Alianza), was the best producing female at High Plains Alpacas, a leading Canadian breeder. His sire, Velerio is a full Accoyo out of AOBA champion White Lightning. High Khan is known for his fine, consistent fleece that exhibits a high brightness. High Khan is not available for outside breedings, making his genetics very rare. We know of no other High Khan offspring in the United States.

Dundee's Blossom
|
Dundee ’s Blossom Jaxon Light Brown ARI: 31532778 DOB 10/1/09 Dam: HP Wee Lassie Sire: CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon
Soft, dense, and fine describes Blossom's fleece. She is robust, vigorous, and well-proportioned. Visitors have been interested in her since she was born. Blossom is the one who comes up and wants to know you - and that's fun - but serious breeder's will also be impressed with her structure, balance and fiber so soft it's hard to feel. We have not gotten the test results back yet, but suspect that she is well below 20, as was Lassie's cria last year. Then there is her pedigree. Blosom is an Axtion Jaxon (AJ) daughter and her dam, Lassie, is from the Canadian herd. Lassie hails from High Plains out of Saskatoon and carries many of its reknowned lines: Amadeus, Velerio, White Lightening, Javier, Jolimont (Australian) Pauco and Jolimont Cinimo. These represent some of the best Canadian and Australian alpacas. The combination with AJ, who brings fineness, strong color, and excellent conformation, has resulted in a supurb cria. Blossom will be ready to breed in the spring. We would suggest Adrenalin or The Lad for her breeding - either one would be a good match for different reasons, which we will be glad to discuss with you. Blossom is a good choice for those looking for color combined with fabulous fleece quality and rare pedigree.
SOLD!! Congatulations to Dian Rogers and Steve Trainer

Arabesque
Arabesque's son, The Lad |
Dundee ’s Arabesque True Black Champion ARI 821960 DOB 1/27/00 Dam: Resada Marcella Sire: CPeruvian Chinchero, true black imported by Linda Berry Walker Service Sire: Aztec Adrenalin (Full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo son of Victor's Vaccoyo) Arabesque is a three time Color Champion and one of the stars of Dundee Farm. Her micron tested 19.1 at 18 months and is still fine today. She is 3/4 Peruvian, has a true black grandsire as well as sire, and is an excellent mother with plenty of milk and know-how. Her 2004 cria, Dundee's Jacqueline Jaxon, placed 2nd in a large, competitive class at the Great Western Alpaca Show and went on to win a first place at Fall Festival. Her 2005 cria is The Lad, a color champion and blue ribbon winner in his own right. Her '07 cria, Bentley, is a true black, dense, Axtion Jaxon son showing great promise as a herdsire. This fabulous production female is only offered because we are keeping her son, The Lad, as well as other related girls. As alpaca breeders know, a herd needs variety. Arabesque is perfect for those breeding for black who want predictability, pedigree, and champion bloodlines. Arabesque has been bred to Adrenalin for a fall 2008 cria.
